I am a 22-year-old graduating from
Berklee College of Music
(Dec '24)
with a
Bachelor of Music
in
Electronic Production & Design,
a
Minor
in
Acoustics & Electronics,
and a
Minor
in
Creative Coding—
I am Venezuelan born and raised, a natural-born citizen of the U.S.—
I moved to Sugar Land, TX in 2013,
spending my high school years curious about
music as a bass guitar/piano/sax/tuba player,
body movement as a swimmer,
mathematics (up to calculus),
and philosophy through a theist lense—
My biggest takeaway from high school:
to strengthen an argument I don't agree with,
and continuously learn what premises I stand on—
I developed my own bilingual worldviews,
made my own tunes & melodies with drippy fingers,
and started writing my own poetry senior year to feel truly understood—
Once I graduated high school,
I flew on over to Boston University to study engineering
and quickly found no purpose in growing to become
a mechanical engineer at some construction company—
I grew as a guitarist & producer
and transferred down the street to Berklee—
I've been committed to the arts ever since:
writing & producing music,
doing sound for film work,
expanding my instrumental capabilities,
exploring different musical styles,
coding plug-ins and visuals,
troubleshooting & fixing studio hardware,
writing & performing poetry,
drawing and painting,
and of course, cooking good food—
I'm open to collaborating,
open to helping others,
and open to feedback—
The creative process requires listening,
and here I am.
